Prestbury House stands in 1 acre of gardens and 5 acres of secluded grounds beneath Cleeve Hill ( part of the Cotswold Way) and therefore provides uninterupted outstanding views from the gardens. This country manor house is situated in the Burgage, steeped in English history, especially the English Civil War. Now it is a quiet backwater adjacent to Cheltenham Race Course, yet only 1.5 miles from Regency Spa Cheltenham centre . Today, Prestbury House is an independently owned Grade II Listed Queen Mary, 300-year-old AA, , Visit Britain 4*Star Guest Accommodation Country Manor House offering excellent Breakfasts with large bedrooms some with 4 posters,some with King size beds some with garden views. Premiere bedrooms are in the main house and Standard bedrooms ( except of 2 on the 3rd floor in the main house - note : no lift) are in the Coach House.The Coach House is around 320 years old and has many exposed White Oak beams. Ground floor, family rooms and twin bedded rooms are Standard bedrooms in the Coach House. Being Grade 2 listed there are no lifts in either building. The hotel has Visit Britain Disability Access Catorgory 1. There is a large secure car park and fully approved helicopter landing facilities for up to 3 aircraft. There is full wireless internet ( free of charge) throughout the hotel and SKY television in all bedrooms.
