Location. Chilston Park Hotel is located in the village of Sandway in Kent, England, in the green English countryside. It lies 10 miles from the country town of Maidstone, and 48 miles from the capital city of London.
Hotel Features. The hotel is located in a Grade One listed country house from the 17th century, with later additions. It is set in 23 acres of parkland with its own helipad, and is approached by a sweeping, tree-lined driveway. The public areas have complimentary wireless Internet access and feature antique furnishings and high ceilings. Complimentary parking and 24-hour room service are also available.

Culpeppers Restaurant offers contemporary Mediterranean cooking and features antique furnishings and heavy, draped curtains. Light meals are available in the Lounge, and traditional afternoon tea, including cucumber sandwiches and freshly baked scones, is served in the Marble Room.

Conference and meeting facilities are available.

The hotel grounds have a running track, there is a tennis court, and archery and croquet are available.

Expert Tip. There has been a house on the site of the current Chilston Park Hotel since at least 1100. At that time, `Childeston', meaning dwelling of the younger son, was owned by the Fitzhamon Lords of Leeds Castle.
